Seems to be an issue with Tf2 as well, try "set name xxxx" or "name xxxx" |

in DOD,DOD Source, Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress, & Team Fortress 2. You can change your name by pressing "Shift" & "Tab" at the same time to bring up an overlay menue. this can be done at any time as long as a game is not loading. the overlay menue can be found at the bottem of the screan. |
